Running Radio Cherwell takes up a huge amount of time, effort and money. Maintaining and replacing broadcasting equipment is very expensive. Also, providing prizes to our competition winners costs a lot each year. Therefore, we need to generate an income to maintain this service. However, you will never find us shaking cans to raise funds.

We are happier raising money by using our knowledge of sound systems - providing public address systems at local events. Our outside broadcast unit can be seen all across Oxfordshire during the summer, at school fetes, fun-runs, galas and carnivals. We also take bookings for live concert recordings, stereo studio facilities and cassette duplication.

Occasionally, we organise other activities such as raffles and music quizzes, plus race nights, where you can ride your own horse on our giant board game.

Recently, we've been extremely fortunate in receiving financial support from two local businesses.
